Cabot Square Alternatives plc (ALTS), a new closed-ended UK investment company to be listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, has released a prospectus in relation to an initial public offering of Ordinary Shares.

ALTS will aim to provide a new model for investors to access returns from the alternatives sector so as to generate an attractive level of sustainable dividend income alongside capital appreciation over the long term.

The Company is seeking to raise £200 million, by way of a initial placing, offer for subscription and intermediaries offer. Interactive Investor Services Limited was appointed as an intermediary in connection with the intermediaries offer.

Offer price and allocation policy

  • The Issue Price has been set at £1.00 per Ordinary Share.
  • Allocation of shares will be at the absolute discretion of the Company. We will be required to apply the allocation policy to each customer who subscribes for shares. This may include a scale-back, which could result in you receiving less shares or no shares at all.
  • Following the announcement of the allocation policy we will complete the settlement, allocate the shares (if your application was successful) and (in the case of scale-back) refund any cash to your account.

Offer period

  • The Offer Period for the Cabot Square Alternatives plc share offer closed at 3pm on Wednesday 12 February 2020.
  • On Friday 14 February 2020 the Company announced the timetable for the IPO will be extended and an updated timetable will be published in due course.

Trading starts

  • When admitted to trading, the Ordinary Shares will be registered with SEDOL (Stock Exchange Daily Official List) number BJ0LR71 and trade under the symbol "ALTS".
